Registration Agreement
The reference version of the agreement every student signs at registration. Signed copies are kept in our archives. This page exists so you can read the terms again at any time.
This agreement is made between Habibi Dabke (the School) and the registered student (the Participant).
By signing this document, the Participant acknowledges having read and accepted the conditions below.
This is a courtesy translation. The French version is the reference version of the agreement.
1.Registration and deposit
- The number of classes and the registration fees vary by cohort.
- A deposit of 50 dollars plus taxes is required to reserve a spot.
- This deposit is refundable for a period of 24 hours following payment.
- After that period, the deposit becomes non refundable.
- The deposit is deducted from the total amount of the session.
2.Full payment and refund policy
- The balance of the payment must be settled before the session begins.
- Once the session has started, no refund will be granted, except for a medical reason with supporting proof. If approved, the refund amount is calculated on a prorated basis for the classes not attended, based on the number of classes remaining in the session.
3.Consent to photo and video capture
- The School or an authorized third party may film or take photographs during classes or events.
- By signing this agreement, the Participant authorizes the School to use their image, voice or likeness captured in that material for promotion, for publication on social media, or for any other use related to the activities of Habibi Dabke.
- A Participant who does not wish to appear in photographs or videos must inform the School in writing before the session begins.
- In that case, the School undertakes to take the necessary measures to avoid filming the Participant, or to show them only from behind or in a way that is not recognizable.
4.Liability and safety
- Dance involves certain physical risks.
- The Participant acknowledges taking part voluntarily and under their own responsibility.
- In the event of injury or incident, the School cannot be held liable for any damage whatsoever, direct or indirect.
- In an emergency, School staff will take appropriate measures, such as contacting emergency services (ambulance and similar), without assuming financial or legal responsibility.
5.Participant commitment
- By signing this document, the Participant acknowledges:
- having read, understood and accepted all the conditions of this agreement;
- committing to respect the rules of the School, the schedules and the proper conduct of classes;
- having been informed of the payment, refund and image capture policies.
